Re: Unable to connect from certain devices
I Had a similar issue, however, when I tried to get here via the link on endogaming.net I was able to get access.

Re: Attachments in replies
So, I've thus far had little success in attaching files in a PM. I tried sending a PDF to several individuals who have not received it. Followed steps of new pm, I selected the file, clicked add the file. I didn't put any commentary. No files were sent.

Re: Retainers
If the secretary is doing direct action or at least it's known that what the secretary is doing is on behalf of the duke? Absolutely. If the secretary is clearly performing personal activities and not under orders from the duke? I would give some respect, but not the same as the duke.

Re: Retainers
Found it! Old wiki, FAQ: Though this is not a system mechanic, a good rule of thumb is to treat a ghoul as if they had three less Status than their Domitor, to a minimum of zero. Thus, while the ghoul of an individual with two Status may be beneath notice, the ghoul of an individual with four Status...

Re: Artisan vs Masterwork vs 'Good'
So, one little detail to bring up is perhaps something that's been effectively been dropped: Crafts levels of quality. Let's say you do the performance, and due to attributes, equipment, and skills, you manage to do a performance with a total pool of 19. That's outright amazing . But it didn't becom...

Re: Retainers
I remember reading somewhere that effectively you treat retainers and childer under the accounting as 2 status less than their domitor. I've been playing off of that, because as I see it, dealing with a retainer is different than dealing with the person in charge. From my end, if a retainer delivers...

I've got a PM in my inbox that says there's an attachment on it. When I click on it, there are no attachments in it. This seems to have only happened in replies and forwards and not the initial PM.

Re: Courtesy in Cruelty and other 'rules'.
As I see it, the "be careful when you give out info on the OOC level" can be viewed by my experience in game: So, when Grue was alive, one of the things that I did enjoy sharing was the fact that all that he accomplished, he did so as a caitiff. I didn't share it with everyone, because I knew that i...

I just realized that the ventrue ranks page is not on the new wiki, link is in the above post, but it does help give some info on the basics of Ventrue internal politicking and hope to see it on the new wiki.

Re: Absent Sway
My concern about absent sway has largely been a combination that it's been used in obvious ways and has been set up in overt pieces that you can't really opt out of. To use my character perspective: Absent sway has been used on him in ways that he either hasn't noticed or refused to look at absent s...

Lindsay's unable to log in
So Lindsay was in chat and it said her connection was closed on our end. On her end, she's unable to reconnect. Further, she's saying that she can't seem to log into anything on Endogaming.

Re: Feeding Grounds
From what I've gathered: It's not required a PC does the patroling. Don't want to deal with it? Most clans have at least one support NPC. What's stopping getting them to do it? Mechanically, the downtime a story's handled. It's opting out of the ramifications of having one PC in a clan from doing it...

Re: Feeding Grounds
Full disclosure, this topic has been in discussion since Tim and Faith were Primogen. The locations and everything were being off and on refined and the politics of it shifted around. It eventually made its way to the officers board fairly recently, and now it's gotten to the draft that's on the Cam...

Re: Character backstory: You were then, like you are now.
My process is to build a skeleton for staff and other players to work from, followed by me putting the meat on in play. Example, this is directly from Mike's backstory about the masquerade incident that led to the kindred taking notice of him: During one visit, witnessed a kindred feeding on a nearb...

Re: Beast Traits and Downtime
So, my thoughts on this: Cool, it makes some sense, and it does kind of address my issue of "I can murder 1 person a day, every day, and never drop humanity!". However, I'm not entirely cool with retroactively changing the rule and penalizing the characters who submitted the downtimes without knowin...

Re: In Game information
Just noticed one more thing: The old wiki had a page on Ventrue Ranks (rook, eiren, questor, etc). I just noticed it's not on the new wiki. It's been a load of help for some ventrue stuff, could it be transferred to the new wiki as well?

Re: Secret NPCs
So, I remember a plot when a relatively new player was brought in, then suddenly was ambushed because the player playing the NPC just assumed that "Sabbat infiltrator" meant "When I get people alone, use that opportunity to capture them, stake them, then prepare to forcibly blood bond them/kill them...

Re: NPCs and Rarity Merits (aka My rules are different)
Regarding the examples given, mostly to give my thoughts: Baali needing credentials: the alternate identity background has rules there, but it's a background, not a merit. But why must it be a Baali that just does the corruption on their own? Say it's an outside force that sends agents, such as cam ...

Re: NPCs and Rarity Merits (aka My rules are different)
My thought: If the NPC is of the passing through variety, then sure, so long as the point cap is equal to their home domain's, then I'm fine with them spending point costs. An Assamite Sorcerer with Awaken the Steel, for example, would be fine if he's briefly int he domain. However, if the NPC is a ...
