A reminder! This is still the case.

Re: Retainers

I have a lot of opinions about this! Firstly, I generally try to make sure that PCs are playable. This means allowing more leeway with PC retainers than NPC retainers. I try to avoid having my NPCs react in a way that would try to push PCs toward more drama, not less. Because of this, I'll generally...

Wanted: Male Toreador NPC

If someone's available, I'd like someone to play a well-dressed Toreador lesser officer for this Friday. Most likely this will be half a night, but it could be a full night instead.

Investigation and Detectability

A perspective I have about Investigations, that will often inform how I reply to downtimes. There are a few ways to investigate a thing: 1. Talking to people who know about a topic. This is often the best way - lots of information, great opportunities to get context. 2. Going to a place where someth...

Those 39 pages better be super interesting. Because TLDR does not win approvals.

Re: How old can I be?

Nope.

I'd rather not have to read a forty-page long backstory because someone wants an ancient character.

Unable to connect at all. I am pretty sure it was a network thing and not an endogaming thing.

Status and Clan Prestige

We've had some confusion about status and clan prestige, so we created a page describing our rules for it:

Thanks!

Re: Create Linked Account

This isn't a feature that gets used super often, so this might have happened last month when the inbox search capabilities got wonderfully added? I know a lot of little things reverted to past code there.

Re: Hidden but accessible forums

Unfortunately, this is a "feature" of the phpbb software - they built it that way intentionally, which makes it difficult to fix. I'll look into if anyone's figured a way around it. Okay! If it's difficult to fix, no worries. It's something that Staff (mostly me) stumbles upon every six months or s...

Hidden but accessible forums

Current forum behavior is that you only see forums listed if you have at least read access to every forum level above it. This can lead to the odd situation where a user might be able to see a forum with a direct link, but never from the top level. It would be nice if you could see a forum listed (b...

Wanted: Female Toreador NPC

Hey all! Last minute, but is anyone up to playing a female Toreador NPC for Monterey Court tonight? (Costuming is either Celtic/artsy or battle-ready.) The NPC could be just for the Court scene, or could be for the whole night, whichever works better for you. You should not be planning to bring your...

We haven't bought administrator dinner lately

I've noticed a problem with the website: new features are popping up left and right, problems are being resolved instantly when reported, and the system is running fast and well. However, we haven't thanks administrator nearly enough. Proposed bug fix: I'd like to buy administrator and his beautiful...

Forwarding sender

Possibly related to the wiki link change: autoforwarded private messages from linked accounts have gone back to being from the the recipient rather than the original sender.
