Staff does not passively see grapvine any differently than the rest of you. Lots of anonymous posts.

It was, however, discovered some time ago while in the moderator mode of the forums that those of us with moderator access can actively check the details of a single post to see which user it was that posted.

Interesting - I thought I had caught it in all places, but this one doesn't really matter, so I won't "fix" it . I could probably adjust it so mods always see these, but I think some of you might like it as is for NPC reasons.

psst, you guys know you can always ask me if you want changes made to the boards, right?

Also when browsing grapevine. You can always look down a the "Who's Browsing this Forum" at the bottom of the screen to see who else has the same GV level as you and who may be posting.

Iirc, hidden users stay hidden.

Even though you're not supposed to quote yourself via grapevine and act like you're someone else, the times people have, it ends up quoting your actual name and not Anonymous.
