Hi there!
I've been meaning to mention this for a while, but I never got around to it. Now, I'm getting around to it.
There've been a number of new characters floating in lately who have proclaimed that they have 'heard of' or are 'familiar with' Jacob Lennet. Some of these people are from Europe, and would have probably learned what they know about Lennet from Europe.
I know Lennet's got an in-game rep, what with the longevity of the character and all, but if you are playing a character who knows Lennet from Europe somehow, please contact me beforehand and let me tell you how things are in Europe. Lennet's reputation in Europe is pretty different from what it is in the US, and some of it isn't very flattering. Most of it. He's much more infamous than famous, and outside of London, that whole Jack the Ripper thing is generally regarded as just another performance of his. They have other reasons to look at him sideways.
In fact, until the last five years or so, Lennet has never been anyone important in Europe. No one ever expected him to be.
So by all means! It's ok to have heard things about Lennet from Europe. But be sure to talk to Staff and/or myself so you can get a clear (ish) picture of what you know. Thank you!

Re: Rumors!
I heard that he once challenged a man to a duel by slapping him in the face with a trout. The insult of it was that the fish wasn't even fresh!

Re: Rumors!
I heard Lennet is a pretty cool guy. He kills whores and doesn't afraid of anything.
The waiting drove me mad... you're finally here and I'm a mess
I take your entrance back... can't let you roam inside my head
I don't want to take what you can give
I would rather starve than eat your bread
I would rather run but I can't walk
Guess I'll lie alone just like before
