Alright, here's a little more definitive list of where Luther was, and when (of course, all dates are approximate):

Embraced in Mississippi in 1880
Released in Chicago in 1890
Wandered all over the damn place till about 1910 when he returned to Chicago.
1910 to 1940 - Ran an underground gambling den in Chicago called "The Magnolia Room" which of course became a speakeasy when prohibition was passed.
1940 - Luther moved to Las Vegas and opened a casino in Las Vegas called "The Dixie Grand Casino/Resort"
1965 - Moved to Reno and ran a number of casinos there.
1989 - Was involved in the creation of the event "Hot August Nights", and opened "The Riverboat Hotel/Casino".
Present - In the process of moving to the South Bay.
