Character tie-ins

Howdy all,
I'm looking/ hoping to come into game knowing some people.
I'm playing a Toreador embraced in 1800 Lyon, France (who often hung out in Paris).
He traveled a lot and kept up on the hot party/art scenes, including England and Spain (Ibiza). Sometimes he partied too hard, then went through years of getting more sober (sometimes with a religious theme).
He's been in California since 1940s.
I'm looking for people who knew him when he was partying hard and/or when he was solemn and sobering up.
He's rich and has a lot of pull among rich people.
