Seeking Help For Court OOC

Post by Sibihah »

Hi All,

The activities I have planned for court will probably involve a few stations for people to stop and interact with. I could use 3-4 small tables and at least 2 chairs if anyone happens to have them to lend. I'm also in the market for any volunteers who want to NPC. Sibihah has a legion of ghouls to pull the event off but I certainly don't. On the conservative end I could use the help of 2 people. One person would be doing tarot card readings and the other would be floating between several stations. I don't anticipate this taking more than an hour of folks time, but I could be wrong. You could still play your character for court proper, the events would be for a while before and possibly after court.

Please let me know if you want to help with tables, chairs, or NPCing!

Thanks in advance,
Megan

I have two small tables and two folding chairs I can bring. :)

I just realized there is no reason you can't have your PC volunteer to help out if your PC is the type. So consider that an option to if you want to help, but also want to play your character all night.

Please do support this! We all like it when events are fun!

(And of course you can get NPC XP for NPCing.)

Should I bring some tablecloths, too? I have them in varying sizes, including long enough to cover large plastic tables. I also have some large LED candles, but I don't know if those would fit into your décor concept.

Megan do you need random deco prices or fabric to cover things? I've got lots.

I'm happy to help either way, but do you plan on doing a lot of the setup before game on or after? I'm cool leaving my old tables and thrift store tablecloths near the library during listen up if it means that I have some more time to get dressed before court begins.

I do not anticipate set up taking more than 30 minutes. Since court starts at 10 I plan to set up right after listen up and have the area open in plenty of time for visitors by 9.

Sam & Melissa - please bring your tables, table cloths, and chairs.

Anthony - Sure, go ahead and bring it. Do you have a table cloth for it? If not I'll find something in my place.

Adana - I always need lovely fabrics and random awesome things to display!

Thank you all! And Thanks Tommy who volunteered in a PM to help as Trash. I don't think you'll be doing the tarot cards reading...though MAN that would be funny.

I think we've been hosting court at Toad Hollow lately, so the library parking lot of closest. Happy to help move the table.
